P76 DISC TO STANDARD HOLDEN STUB AXLES
OR ROD SHOP DROP STUB AXLES.
KIT WILL NARROW YOUR TRACK UP TO 18mm PER SIDE WITH THIS KIT.
This kit will bolt straight on if the calipers are mounted on the front of the spindle. However it is recommended that they be fitted at the back of the spindle (as on HQ's) by swapping the spindles side for side.
Otherwise the calipers will foul on the front of the top arm as the steering approaches full lock on full suspension travel.
It is particularly critical on cars with lowered suspensions but will work with stock suspension but is not recommended.
To fit them to the back it will be necessary to grind a small amount off the caliper bracket and the steering arm.
A small amount may also have to be removed from the edge of one of the spacers to allow the bolt caliper and spindle holes to line up.
Check clearance between the ends of the bolts and the disc when tightening up.
The ends of the top and bottom arms may also have to be cleaned up with a grinder to clear the discs. There is more work involved in fitting the calipers at the rear of the spindle but it works best and is worth the extra effort.
